<p>PURPOSE: A rack bar supporter of a steering apparatus for a car and a steering apparatus for a car are provided to offer the operator the comfort of steering by preventing the noise in which the support yoke strikes hard the yoke plug and which is generated in the impact which is reversely inputted from the irregular road. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar supporter of a steering apparatus for a car comprises a support yoke(310), a yoke plug(330), and an elastic supporter(320). The support yoke is inserted into the cylinder of gear-box. In the support yoke, the front face is glued to and supports the rear surface of the rack bar(140). In the rear surface of the support yoke, the support groove is formed in the central part into the recess. The yoke plug comprises the supporting portion which is perpendicularly projected in the front face to be inserted into the support groove of the support yoke. The yoke plug is coupled with the cylinder of gear-box while supporting the support yoke to the front. The elastic supporter is coupled between the supporting part and support groove, supports the support yoke to the front. The elastic supporter absorbs the external force delivered through the rack bar.</p> |
