The purpose of the present invention is to provide an operation environment for a mobile terminal and mobile device management server, as a method for mobile device management (MDM) to minimize power consumption while maintaining a communication state, which comprises the following steps: finding out a communication cut-off threshold time, which is a threshold time when communications of a user terminal is disconnected; maintaining minimal communications with the mobile terminal management server to minimize power consumption of the mobile terminal after finding out the communication cut-off threshold time; and, if the communication cut-off threshold time elapsed, switching the mobile terminal to a standby state and determining whether to maintain the minimal communications again. As an advantageous effect of the present invention, it is possible to remarkably reduce power consumption of a mobile device by reducing CPU processing overheads while continuously running a mobile device management client. Another purpose of the present invention is to increase the overall network efficiency as well as reduce power consumption by reducing unnecessary communications of the mobile device management client. The mobile device management client according to an embodiment of the present invention checks whether a communication threshold time for a terminal is already set and, if the communication threshold time is not set, searches for the communication threshold time through a self-learning process to communicate with a service device. Also, the mobile device management server of the present invention comprises: a processing unit which checks whether there is a threshold time registered by the mobile device management client; a receiving/transmitting unit which relays communications with a client; a control unit which controls a series of processes; and a storage unit which stores the threshold time and the like. |
