Disclosed is a bicycle including a gearshift selection device. The disclosed bicycle including a gearshift selection device includes: a bicycle body connected with at least one wheel having the ability to rotate; a handle member connected to the bicycle body to control the orientation of the bicycle body; a pedal member connected to the bicycle body to enable a user to apply an external force for the rotation of the wheel, with the ability to rotate; a gearshift selection device connected to the bicycle body to alter the rotation velocity of the wheel; a pedal member rotation sensing member for sensing the rotation of the pedal member; and a handle locking member. The handle locking member locks a predetermined amount of the rotation range of the handle member when the pedal member rotation sensing member senses the rotation of the medal member to make a relatively bigger external force for rotating the handle member, compared to a situation wherein the pedal member is not being rotated, and clears the lock of the handle member when the pedal member rotation sensing member senses no rotation of the pedal member.
