The method comprises: retrieving hot air to a level of temperature, transferring heat to hot air of a coolant so as to condense moisture and/or volatile components; separating and collecting condensate and particles from the condensate; discharging the dried air, discharged particles and condensable volatile components to the atmosphere and heating the cold air for drying grains (3) using calories transferred to the coolant. Independent claims are included for: (1) an installation for treating warm humid air discharged from a grain dryer; and (2) a grain dryer.
