A thermoelectric module coupling structure for a thermoelectric power generating apparatus includes a thermoelectric module with one side being mounted on the outer surface of an exhaust pipe, through which exhaust gas flows in a longitudinal direction; a cooling water tube mounted on the other surface of the thermoelectric module through which cooling water flows; and a clamping member electrically connected to the thermoelectric modules. The thermoelectric modules are divided into groups in which the thermoelectric modules are connected to each other, and each group is electrically connected to the corresponding clamping member. The electrical connection of the thermoelectric modules constituting each group is serial connection. Since the thermoelectric modules are grouped into a thermoelectric module in which a temperature difference between a heat source and a cool source is relatively small, and then are electrically connected to each other, the power generation amount can be effectively increased. |
