The present invention relates to a smart set-top box connected to a TV, and in particular, to a mobile high-definition link (MHL) smart set-top box in which users can use the Internet using a TV screen and can also connect two smartphones to the MHL set-top box at the same time, thereby allowing two users to play a smartphone game while watching the TV screen by using their own smartphones. The MHL smart set-top box of the present invention comprises a dual MHL unit (510), a smart set-top box unit (520), and a signal switching unit (530). The dual MHL unit (510) comprises: a smartphone connection unit 1 (511) and a smartphone connection unit 2 (512) for receiving signals from smartphone 1 (100) and smartphone 2 (200), respectively; a signal conversion unit 1 (513) and a signal conversion unit 2 (514) for converting the signals inputted from the smartphone connection unit 1 (511) and the smartphone connection unit 2 (512) to high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) signals; a control unit (515) for outputting a control signal by signals from the signal conversion unit 1 (513) and the signal conversion unit 2 (514); a screen multiplexing unit (516) for multiplexing a screen by the control signal of the control unit (515); and a phone video output unit (517) for outputting a phone video signal multiplexed by the screen multiplexing unit (516). The smart set-top box unit (520) is connected to the Internet (300). The signal switching unit (530) selects a signal from the phone video output unit (517) of the dual MHL unit(510) or a signal from a video/audio output unit (527) of the smart set-top box (520) and transmits the selected signal to a TV (400). |
