The present invention relates a positive electrode having high power for a secondary battery and a secondary battery including the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a positive electrode in which a positive electrode mixture including positive electrode active materials, conductive materials and binders is spread on a current collector, and a secondary battery including the same. The positive electrode active materials include lithium nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide composite in a bimodal form composed of small particles and large particles whose average diameters are different, and olivine type lithium transition metal phosphorus oxide in a monomodal form. The positive electrode has energy in the range of 1.0 to 1.8 mAh/cm^2 per unit area.
