PURPOSE: An originator information display system and a method thereof are provided to identify a mobile operator identification number or a country code in an international calling number and to display originator information on a screen of a receiving terminal. CONSTITUTION: A telephone receiver (110) receives an international call including an international calling number from an originating terminal. A number identifier (120) distinguishes a mobile operator identification number or a country code from the international calling number. A screen display unit (140) displays originator information corresponding to the international calling number except for the identified mobile operator identification number of the country code on a screen of a receiving terminal. A storing unit (130) stores the mobile operator identification number or the country code.
