<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that determines upper limits of the fare and/or required time related to an applied route and automatically determines whether the route can be accepted.SOLUTION: The route selection system includes: means for previously defining a reference upper limit of a fare, selecting one or a plurality of routes from the routes corresponding to a departure station and arrival station, and obtaining specified parameters including the departure station and arrival station; means for setting a first variation parameter indicating the presence/absence of use of a route requiring a special express charge and a second variation parameter indicating a route that does not use it; means for searching for a first route on the basis of the specified parameters and first and second variation parameters; means for updating the first and second variation parameters on the basis of the information of inter-station distance determined for each route obtained by the first route search; means for searching for a second route on the basis of the first and second variation parameters set on the basis of the inter-station distance; and means for calculating a fare upper limit corresponding to one route on the basis of the fare corresponding to the one route obtained by the second route search and the reference upper limit of the fare.</p> |
