<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately reduce operation sound according to actual conditions of environmental noise and a situation of a person.SOLUTION: A sound collector controller 202 measures the level of environmental noise; a human sensor controller 303 transmits, to a mode commander 4, activity degree data indicating the degree of activity determined from a position, body temperature, and working speed of a person; and a CPU 401 determines the degree of activity. The CPU 401 calculates a distance L from a print system 1 being an operation sound generation source to the person, from position information on the print system 1 and information on the position transmitted from the human sensor controller 303, predicts the level of the operation sound generated from the print system 1 when a print job is executed in a regular mode, and selects an operation mode on the basis of the level of the environmental noise, the degree of activity, the distance L, and the predicted level of the operation sound.</p> |
