<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strobe device that enables stable light emission to be attained by preventing generation of high pressure leakage.SOLUTION: In a strobe device 1 comprising: a xenon tube (an electric discharge tube) 2 that has a surface coated with a transparent electrode, and has both ends in a longitudinal direction connected to a power source of a light emission circuit via an electrode terminal 7; a reflector 3 that reflects light from the xenon tube 2 toward an irradiation object; an output terminal 11 that applies a trigger voltage to the xenon tube 2 via the transparent electrode; and a trigger coil 4 that is provided with an input terminal 9 connected to the power source, the reflector 3 is composed of a non-conductive material (or a conductive material having a surface insulatedly coated), and the output terminal 11 of the trigger coil 4 is mounted to a printed substrate 10. The output terminal 11 mounted to the printed substrate 10 by folding the printed substrate 10 to an inner side of the reflector 3 is brought into contact with the transparent electrode of the xenon tube 2.</p> |
