The invention relates to an improved kite of the type commonly used for kitesurfing, comprising a laminar surface (1) defined by a leading edge (2) and a trailing edge (3), and a frame (4) equipped with a leading profile (4a) and a plurality of crossbars (4b) extending across the laminar surface (1), such that the leading profile (4a) extends along the length of the leading edge (2) of the laminar surface (1), and the crossbars (4b) extend across the laminar surface (1) from the leading edge (2) to the trailing edge (3) thereof and are substantially perpendicular to the leading profile (4a). Moreover, the cross-section of the leading profile (4a) is of the aerodynamic or wing profile type. |
