A walkie/rider pallet truck (10) is provided comprising a power unit (12); a set of forks (16) associated with the power unit; a platform (14) associated with the power unit and defining a location upon which an operator may stand; and a restraint system (200) comprising a pivotable restraint structure. The restraint structure (200) is movable to one of a walkie position, a rider-driving position and a quick-exit position.
