PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode part for a touch panel with an optical functional layer, an electrode part for a touch panel with a circular polarizing plate, a touch panel, and an image display device, capable of significantly improving visual recognition of a conductive pattern of a touch panel that has been hindered by reflection of external light, and glare occurring due to discomfort metallic glossiness, and displaying good videos.SOLUTION: An electrode part for a touch panel with an optical functional layer includes: first electrode layer 31 and second electrode layer 32 respectively including transparent base materials 311 and 321, and conductive patterns 312 and 322 formed at least on one surface of the transparent base material 311 and 321; and an optical functional layer 43 that is laminated on one side of the first electrode layer 31 and the second electrode layer 32, and provides a phase difference of 1/4 wavelength to transmitting light. The conductive pattern 312 and 322 are formed by metal layer 312a and 322a having conductivity being formed into a predetermined pattern.
