PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution which can more successfully inhibit a turn-on surge voltage than in the past.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: one arm (312) of a half-bridge circuit (31), which has a first semiconductor switching element (322a) and a second semiconductor switching element (322b) provided in parallel with each other; and a control circuit (35) for turning on the first semiconductor switching element while maintaining the second semiconductor switching element in an off-state from a state where both of the first semiconductor switching element and the second semiconductor switching element are in the off-state, and after a predetermined time period has elapsed, for turning on the second semiconductor switching element while maintaining the first semiconductor switching element in the on-state. |
