<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing the operation of a heat engine having an electronic housing and a combustion parameter controlled by at least one engine mapping.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: analyzing biofuel containing a mixture of at least one of alcohol, ether and water with near infrared, and determining the ratio of water and the ratio of at least another oxygen-containing compound of at least one of an alcohol type and an ether type included in the biofuel; and performing at least one of selection and correction of a mapping on the basis of the result of the analyzing and determining step, and optimizing the operation of a heat engine.</p> |
