PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliability-improved acoustic generator and an electronic apparatus employing the same. ! SOLUTION: An acoustic generator comprises at least: a flat vibrating body 3; an excitor 1 mounted on a first surface 3a which is one principal surface of the vibrating body 3, vibrated by inputting an electric signal thereto for vibrating the vibrating body 3 in a flexible manner; and a casing to which the vibrating body 3 is mounted. The vibrating body 3 is mounted to the casing in such a manner that a second surface 3b which is another principal surface of the vibrating body 3 is exposed outside and the first surface 3a opposes the inside of the casing.
