PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which improves defects of the conventional techniques, having low viscosity and a good property to impregnate into reinforcing fibers due to a thickening effect when curing, caused by fillers having a thixotropic nature, and having fine phase structures and having both excellent elastic modulus and toughness due to prevention of the phase separation structure from becoming coarse, the phase separation structure being formed when curing. ! SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises two or more kinds of resin components including an epoxy compound, a curing agent which can cure the epoxy compound, and particles which satisfy prescribed conditions, where the two or more kinds of resin components are compatible once before a curing reaction and phase-separates after the curing reaction. !
