PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting polysiloxane composition having a favorable pot life and easily curable with heat; and an electronic component. ! SOLUTION: The provided thermosetting polysiloxane composition is a thermosetting polysiloxane composition obtained by mixing (A) an alicyclic epoxy-modified silicone oil, (B) a metal chelate compound solid at normal temperature, and (C) an alkoxyl group-containing silicone oil or alkoxyl group-containing silane. The component (B) is dispersed within the thermosetting polysiloxane composition in a colloidal state and the component (B) is included at a ratio of 0.01-0.5 mass% with respect to the combined sum of components (A), (B), and (C); an electronic component obtained by encapsulating electronic elements with this composition is also provided. !
