PURPOSE: A high thermal conductive Al-Zn-Fe-Si alloy for die casting is provided to obtain enough castability and excellent thermal conductivity simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: An aluminum alloy for die casting comprises 1.0-2.0 wt% of Fe, 0.8-1.6 wt% of Zn, 0.4-0.8 wt% of Si, and the rest of Al and unavoidable impurities. The thermal conductivity of the aluminum alloy is 180 W/mK or greater. A temperature of a range in which a solid aluminum alloy and liquid aluminum alloy can be existed is less than 35°C or 30°C. |
