<p>A three-mating-surface airtight structure in a joint comprising three members, that is, first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4), which are integrally joined with a first gasket (9) therebetween, and a third to-be-sealed member (2), which is integrally joined to the integrally joined first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4) with a gasket (10) therebetween, so as to straddle the respective side end parts (32, 43) of the first and second to-be-sealed members from a direction orthogonal to the direction (L) in which the first and second to-be-sealed members are integrated. The three-mating-surface airtight structure is characterized in that: an end part (90) of the first gasket (9) abuts the sealing surface (10a) of the second gasket (10) at the side end parts (32, 43) of the first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4) in an orthogonal state; the cross-sectional shape of the surface at the end part of the first gasket (9) parallel to the integrated surfaces (31, 41) of the first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4) being a chevron shape; the apex (90a) of that chevron shape exists at a position protruding more toward the third to-be-sealed member (2) than the side end parts (32, 43) of the first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4); and the base part (90b) of the chevron shape exists at a position recessed more toward the side opposite the third to-be-sealed member (2) than the side end parts (32, 43) of the first and second to-be-sealed members (3, 4).</p> |
