<p>Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field. Provided are a media transfer method, an apparatus and a system, which are used for improving network efficiency. The method comprises: obtaining media description information of local devices, wherein the local devices comprise a media transfer device and at least one first device; matching the obtained media description information of the at least one first device with obtained media description information of a remote device, and determining a transfer receiving device among the at least one first device according to a matching result; and sending the media description information of the media transfer device and the media description information of the transfer receiving device to a gateway so that the gateway updates an address mapping table used for communicating with the remote device according to the media description information of the media transfer device and the media description information of the transfer receiving device, enabling the gateway to forward media information sent by the remote device to the transfer receiving device. The present invention applies to a media transfer service scenario.</p> |
