PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining an area for performing flashing on a sheet depending on a printing condition.SOLUTION: A printer 10 having a plurality of nozzles 22 for ejecting liquid and forming an image formation dot for printing an image specified as a printing object by ejecting the liquid includes a printing head 20 having the plurality of nozzles 22 and a control unit 11. The control unit 11 acquires a predetermined parameter in a printing condition for forming the image formation dot on a sheet P, and determines a margin area in which a flashing dot is not formed on an end part of the sheet P based on the predetermined parameter, and then makes the printing head 20 perform ejection operation so that the flashing dot is not formed in the margin area on the sheet P. |
