<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated copper foil which adheres well to a resin and gives the resin excellent transparency after a removal of the copper foil.SOLUTION: The surface-treated copper foil has a ratio C/A of the convex part volume C of the surface to the surface area A of the surface in a plane view of 2.11-23.91 and Sv, defined by Sv=(ΔB×0.1)/(t1-t2), of 3.5 or greater. The Sv is obtained by laminating the copper foil on both sides of a polyimide resin substrate, removing the copper foil by etching, laying a print printed with a line-shaped mark under the exposed polyimide substrate and photographing with a camera and creating an observation point-brightness graphic chart for an obtained image. In the observation point-brightness graphic chart, the difference of the top average value Bt and the bottom average value Bb of the brightness curve is taken asΔB (ΔB=Bt-Bb); the value representing the position of the intersection point closest to the line-shaped mark is taken as t1; and the value representing the position of the intersection point closest to the line-shaped mark, among intersection points between the brightness curve and 0.1ΔB in the depth range from the intersection point of the brightness curve to the depth of 0.1ΔB with respect to Bt is taken as t2, Sv is calculated by the equation Sv=(ΔB×0.1)/(t1-t2).</p> |
