<p>Provided is a permanent magnet synchronous motor that is easy to assemble and is equipped with a high-strength, long-life rotor. This permanent magnet synchronous motor is equipped with a stator and a rotor. The rotor is configured such that a plurality of permanent magnets and a plurality of cores are alternately positioned in a radial pattern when viewed from the center of rotation. Furthermore, the permanent magnet synchronous motor: is configured in such a manner that the movement of each of the plurality of permanent magnets in the radial direction is regulated by protrusions protruding in the circumferential direction, said protrusions being formed at the ends of the plurality of cores in the radial direction; and is equipped with holding blocks that are formed by a non-magnetic metal material, and are configured in a ring shape. The plurality of cores is held by the holding blocks in such a manner that the movement is regulated in the radial direction, and the holding blocks are fixed to a rotary shaft of the motor.</p> |
