PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect driving noise of a product by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An abnormal noise detection device has a sound pipe 22 at the tip of a microphone 21. The sound pipe 22 has an opening 22A at a front end part thereof directed toward a product 10 and has one side hole 23 formed in a side part thereof. Sound produced in the product 10 is acquired by the microphone while the sound pipe 22 is rotated around an axial line. A noise component included in the acquired sound data is calculated by using a ratio of a sound pressure level of noise taken in via the side hole 23 and a sound pressure level of noise taken in via the opening 22A. The calculated noise component is removed from the sound data to obtain sound produced in the product. |
