PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a protective member for protecting a rubber ring and a lever. ! SOLUTION: A protective member 40 according to the present invention is used for a female connector 10, in which a lever 30 and a rubber ring 14 are mounted to an outer surface of a female housing 11. The protective member comprises: an annular rubber ring protective part 43 covering an entire circumference of the rubber ring 14; and a lever protective part 44 having a cam pin 41 that can be engaged with a cam groove 33 provided on the lever 30, and continued to the rubber ring protective part 43. The rubber ring protective part 43 is fitted with outside of the rubber ring 14, so that the cam groove 33 is engaged with the cam pin 41. Also, the lever protective part 44 is arranged at a position to cover the lever 30, and the rubber ring protective part 43 and the lever protective part 44 are fixed to the female connector 10. !
