PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a person relation database closer to reality. ! SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: image grouping means which determine whether a plurality of images belong the same image group on the basis of difference of shooting time of images and difference of person configuration recognized from the images; image-group person relation degree determination means which defines a relation degree between persons in images determined to belong the same image group by the image grouping means, as a first value; and person relation database combining means which combines an image-group person relation degree determined by the image-group person relation degree determination means with the person relation database. !
