A sensor capable of measuring illuminance and proximity is disclosed. A light source radiates an infrared ray having a wavelength of a specific band to a subject. A photo detector detects a light reflected from the subject. A ball lens transmits the light radiated from the light source to the subject, and the photo detector collects the light reflected from the subject. A sensing unit measures current illuminance and proximity of the subject by acquiring an image of the subject inputted through the photo detector. According to the present invention, sensing distance of the subject can be improved by improving a function of a proximity sensor by inserting a lens to an illuminance sensor and the proximity sensor. Through this, the range of use of the illuminance sensor and the proximity sensor, which were concentrated in a mobile device, can be expanded to a vehicle navigation or a display monitor, etc. |
