PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball 2 excellent in flight performance.SOLUTION: A golf ball 2 is provided with dimples 8 on its surface in large numbers. The trajectory of this ball 8 is divided into a first section, a second section, a third section and a fourth section. A mean value CD1 of the drag coefficient CD of the first section is 0.225 or less, and a mean value CL1 of the lift coefficient CL of the first section is 0.180 or less. A mean value CD2 of the drag coefficient CD of the second section is 0.250 or less, and a mean value CL2 of the lift coefficient CL of the second section is 0.220 or less. A mean value CD3 of the drag coefficient CD of the third section is 0.260 or more, and a mean value CL3 of the lift coefficient CL of the third section is 0.220 or more.
