PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oxime ester compounds with high sensitivity and high solubility in organic solvents as photoinitiators for photosensitive resin compositions.SOLUTION: As photoinitiators for photosensitive resin compositions, oxime ester compounds are used which are represented by the specified general formula (I), where each symbol is as defined in the specifications.
