<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, an information providing apparatus and an information providing method capable of notifying a user of information appropriately.SOLUTION: An information providing system includes a wireless LAN access point and an information providing apparatus. The wireless LAN access point detects a wireless terminal existing in a wireless LAN communication area, and transmits the detection information to the information providing apparatus. Based on at least one of the information about the user of the wireless terminal specified by the detection information, and the information about the installation place of the wireless LAN access point, the information providing apparatus determines from which communication medium, of the wireless LAN access point and a wireless WAN base station, the notification information is notified.</p> |
