<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having high stress resistance and high quality.SOLUTION: A display device includes a substrate, and a plurality of pixels arranged on the substrate in a matrix form. The pixels include: a cover layer that defines a tunnel-shaped cavity on the substrate; a sealant film that seals the tunnel-shaped cavity; an image display layer disposed in the tunnel-shaped cavity; and at least one electrode that applies an electric field to the image display layer. The cover layer includes a sidewall portion connected to the substrate, and a cover portion separated from the substrate and connected to the sidewall portion.</p> |
