PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone device which allows a user to perform a touch operation during a telephone call with the non-dominant hand easily in such a case without forcing the user to perform a special operation to change a layout of UI objects.SOLUTION: A smart phone (1) includes: a display section (21) having a display surface (11a); a touch sensor (22); and a control section (17) which makes the display section (21) display an application window including a UI object image (20) as an object of touch operation. The control section (17) includes: a call state determination section which determines whether or not the smart phone (1) is in a call state; and an object image arrangement change section which changes an arrangement of the UI object (20) in the application window displayed on the display surface (11a) to a predetermined arrangement suitable for touch operation in the call state when it is determined that the smart phone is in the call state.
