摘要 In order to stabilize the vibration of an optical fiber by an actuator regardless of the drive frequency of the actuator in fiber scanning observation, provided is a scanning observation device (1) provided with: an optical fiber (7) which emits illumination light; a scanning unit (3) which applies vibration to the tip of the optical fiber (7) and two-dimensionally scans an object to be observed with the illumination light; a waveform generation unit (9) which generates the waveform of the vibration of the tip of the optical fiber (7) by the scanning unit (3); a sampling unit (10) which samples the vibration waveform generated by the waveform generation unit (9) and issues a command to the scanning unit (3); and a control unit (6) which supplies a drive frequency and a frame period to the waveform generation unit (9) and supplies a sampling rate for scanning to the sampling unit (10), the control unit (6) calculating the frame period by dividing the inputted number of vibrations in one frame period by the drive frequency, and calculating the sampling rate for scanning such that the sampling rate becomes an integral multiple of the drive frequency.
