A film-shaped sealing material (1) provided with: first and second adhesive resin layers (11A, 11B) that are adhesive with respect to an item that is to be adhered to; and a resin layer (12) having water vapour barrier properties that is located between the first adhesive resin layer (11A) and the second adhesive resin layer (11B), wherein the resin layer (12) having water vapour barrier properties contains a rubber resin. This film-shaped sealing material (1) has excellent water vapour barrier properties and adhesive properties.
