PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a spline telescopic shaft which is low in rejection rate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a spline telescopic shaft includes a slide process for sliding both manufacturing intermediate bodies 20, 30 in an axial direction X1 after pressure-inserting the inner shaft manufacturing intermediate body 20 in which a resin coating is formed at a male spline into the outer shaft manufacturing intermediate body 30. In the slide process, slide loads W of both the manufacturing intermediate bodies 20, 30 are detected by a load sensor 75, and the slide process is finished when the detected slide loads W reach threshold loads W1. The threshold loads W1 are calculated using a primary function formula W1=A.WO+B(A, B are constants) on the basis of an initial slide load W0. |
