PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device for a steering device, capable of preventing the erroneous assembly while suppressing an increase in the machining cost.SOLUTION: A coupling device 6 for a steering device 1 includes a first universal joint 7 having a first yoke 61 to which a pinion shaft 50 is fitted, a second universal joint 8 having a second yoke 62, and an intermediate shaft 60 laid between the first universal joint 7 and the second universal joint 8, the pinion shaft 50 having a positioning member 9 mounted at the end for regulating an angle position between the pinion shaft 50 and the first yoke 61. It dimensionally sets an axial distance Dfrom a center axis Cof a bolt insertion hole 61a of the first yoke 61 to a bottom face 614a of a first clearance 614, an axial distance Dfrom a center axis Cof a bolt insertion hole 62a of the second yoke 62 to a bottom face 624a of a second clearance 624, and a distance Dfrom the position of the center axis of a bolt 63 in a cutout 931 to a front end 932a of an extension 932 of a plate part 93 to satisfy a relational expression D<D≤D. |
