PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact illumination device having a large-sized electrical component capable of performing uniform illumination by efficiently using light from a light source without using any bent tube-shaped light source.SOLUTION: An illumination device 131 includes a reflection member 33 having first reflection surfaces 33c and 33d disposed so as to be extended in a circumferential direction on the furthermore inside of the radial direction than a light source 1 for reflecting light from the light source in a light irradiation direction and a second reflection surface 33a for reflecting a part of light going from the light source toward the portion facing the light source on the first reflection surfaces to a region extended in a direction separating from the light source in the circumferential direction along the first reflection surfaces. The first reflection surfaces in the reflection member and a surface 33k at the rear side of the first reflection surfaces are formed so as to be positioned at the side of the light irradiation direction in the thickness direction according as it separates from the light source in the circumferential direction. At least one of a trigger coil 55, a light reception sensor 56, and a connector 57 is disposed in a space facing the surface at the rear side of the reflection member.
