PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plastic lens excellent in terms of safety and productivity based on a brief reaction and capable of obtaining, by taking advantage of a reaction based on microwave irradiation, a plastic lens having excellent physical appearances such as transparency, the absence of striae, etc.SOLUTION: The provided method for manufacturing a plastic lens is a method for manufacturing a plastic lens including a step of polymerizing a resin monomer based on the irradiation thereof with microwaves wherein the polymerizing step is executed by irradiating microwaves in a state where a molding mold filled with a composition including the resin monomer is being immersed within a liquid. |
