PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing a rush current to a smoothing capacitor provided in rear of an outdoor rectifier while suppressing abnormal heat generation by a rush-current prevention resistor due to an invalid current flowing in an X-capacitor at a time of a short-circuit failure of a rush-current prevention relay even in a configuration in which the air conditioner includes a noise filter including the X-capacitor in rear of the rush current prevention resistor.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 3 includes: an outdoor relay 11 provided in front of a noise filter 70; a first rush-current prevention circuit 60 connected to this outdoor relay 11 in parallel, and including a rush-current prevention resistor 10 suppressing a rush current into an X-capacitor 71 included in the noise filter 70; and a second rush-current prevention circuit 80 provided between the noise filter 70 and the outdoor rectifier 12, and including a PTC thermistor 81 suppressing a rush current into a smoothing capacitor 25 in rear of the outdoor rectifier 12. |
