PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit/receive control information in a radio system.SOLUTION: A base station device comprises: means for transmitting control information including a CRC area and a payload area to a mobile station device through a control information transmission channel; means which imparts identification information for identifying a format of the payload area to the CRC area and performs transmission; and means for preliminarily notifying the mobile station device of both information indicating the format identified by the identification information and information relating to a field in a payload area in which control information to be used by the mobile station device is arranged.
