PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft seal gate valve capable of improving leachability by reducing a contact area of a rubber seal material to a fluid, being used while suppressing separation of carbon and the like due to deterioration of rubber, surely preventing fluid leakage by exerting high sealability while preventing slipping-out of a rubber sheet by tightly attaching a valve element and the rubber sheet with high accuracy without using an adhesive agent, and preventing excessive fastening of the valve element.SOLUTION: A soft seal gate valve opens and closes a flow channel 5 of a valve casing 2 by sealing a valve seat portion 6 and a water cutoff face 7 disposed in a valve casing 2 by a valve element 1 vertically moved in a direction intersecting the flow channel 5 in the valve casing 2. In the valve element 1 of the soft seal valve, rubber lining is applied to rubber fastening portions 16 disposed on an upper circular arc region and a lower end region of an upstream side face 13 and a downstream side face 14 of a base material 10, and a valve element seal portion 31 sealed to the valve seat portion 6, and a water cutoff portion sealed to the water cutoff face 7 in a pressure-contact state, are respectively disposed. |
