<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential thermal analysis method capable of accurately calculating a cDTA signal when the temperature control does not exhibit linearity or when the cDTA signal is calculated in a large region in temperature control period or total duration of the temperature control.SOLUTION: In a differential thermal analysis method, the temperature of a sample disposed in a sample chamber is controlled from a start temperature to an end temperature in accordance with a substantially linear temperature program. During the temperature control, on the basis of the measurement result of the sample temperature at many measurement points, a DTA signal is calculated as a temperature difference between a measured sample temperature and a reference temperature based on a temperature variation model. In the present invention, for calculating the reference temperature related to each measurement point (ti), (a) the time interval including the related measurement point (ti) is set, (b1) a nonlinear adaptive function of the sample temperature variation measured in the time interval is calculated, and (c) the reference temperature is calculated as a value of the adaptive function at the measurement point.</p> |
