<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of improving operability.SOLUTION: An imager 16 outputs raw image data representing a scene captured by an imaging plane. The outputted raw image data are passed through processing in a pre-processing circuit 20 and a post-processing circuit 34 and converted into image data in a YUV format. A CPU 26 captures image data for one frame in response to full pressing a shutter button 28sh under a single-shooting mode and captures image data for six frames in response to fully pressing the shutter button 28sh under a consecutive-shooting mode. When the shutter button 28sh is operated in the middle of recording processing of image data under the single-shooting mode, the CPU 26 determines that an imaging mode is erroneously set, and shifts to capturing processing under the consecutive-shooting mode so as to capture image data for the lacking five frames. As a result, the capturing processing is succeeded from the single-shooting mode to the consecutive-shooting mode.</p> |
