PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sound volume of acoustic noise in a multilayer ceramic capacitor having end-surface external electrodes and side-surface external electrodes.SOLUTION: A first end-surface external electrode 15 is provided so as to extend across on a first end surface 10e and on a second primary surface 10b. A second end-surface external electrode 16 is provided so as to extend across on a second end surface 10f and on the second primary surface 10b. A first side-surface external electrode 17 is provided so as to extend across on a first side surface 10c and on the second primary surface 10b. A second side-surface external electrode 18 is provided so as to extend across on a second side surface 10d and the second primary surface 10b. The first side-surface external electrode 17 and the second side-surface external electrode 18 are spaced apart from each other on the second primary surface 10b. At least a part of a portion of each of the first and second side-surface external electrodes 17 and 18 located on the second primary surface 10b is located in a region in which first and second internal electrodes 11 and 12 are faced to each other in a thickness direction T when viewed from the thickness direction T.
