<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which can perform recording even for the recording medium with information about the ink absorption feature is not preliminary recorded, using an ink jetting amount according to the ink absorption feature; and a recording method of the same.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device detects a first image concentration for a first image formed on a recording medium by scanning of a recording head of a first round. Moreover, a second image concentration is detected for a second image formed on the recording medium by an ink jetting amount per the same unit area as the time of forming the first image by scanning of the bigger recording head of the second round than that of the first round. Lastly the concentration difference between the first image concentration and the second image concentration is detected, and the permeability of the ink to the recording medium is determined based on the concentration difference.</p> |
