The accumulator has a storage vessel provided with a lower memory space (1) and an upper memory space (2). Two separate arrangements (4, 5) are provided in the lower memory space for loading and discharging cold and hot water. A water volume part (6) is arranged in the upper memory space. A vapor pad (7) is arranged above the water volume part. A rigid intermediate bottom part (3) is arranged between the lower memory space and the upper memory space. An input pipe and an input shaft decorated channel structure (8) are provided over the lower memory space and the upper memory space.
