The container (10) has a cuboid-like support structure including a frame-like cover part (12) that is arranged with a distance above a bottom part (11). Vertical posts (20) are arranged in corner regions of the bottom part and the cover part. A vertical auxiliary support (17) is selectively brought into a function position, in which the support supports the cover part at the bottom part, and a non-function position. The auxiliary support is arranged on a longitudinal side (22) of the container. The support is torque fixedly connected with the cover and bottom parts in the function position.
