The present invention relates to a settlement apparatus and, more specifically, to an apparatus for enabling a virtual card to be used at a settlement terminal installed at a store by way of a physical card. According to one embodiment of the present invention, An apparatus for enabling a stored virtual card to be used through a physical card comprises: a touch screen; a user interface (UI) module which outputs an image of at least one virtual card on the touch screen and provides selection information on a virtual card image by a first touch input and movement information on the virtual card image by a second touch input; a first communication interface which transmits data to a communicatively connected physical card; a virtual card management module which generates the image of the at least one virtual card, selects virtual card data corresponding to the selection information, and approves the movement information, such that the selected virtual card data corresponding to the selection information is inserted into the physical card; and a physical card management module which inserts the virtual card data to the physical card through the first communication interface according to the approved movement information.
